1 cp crab meat
1 (3 oz) pkg cream cheese
1/2 cp commercial sour cream
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1/2sp curry powder
1/16 tsp cayenne
1 tbsp finely cut capers
1 tbsp finely cut chives
1 - Drain crab meat.
2 - Remove all fibers by flaking carefully through the meat with a fork.
3 - Grind coarsly.
4 - Blend cheese and sour cream smoothly.
5 - Season with salt, pepper, curry powder, and cayenne.
6 - Combine with ground crab meat.
7 - Add more sour cream if needed for good consistency.
8 - Mix in capers and chives.
9 - Serve on toasted crackers or rounds of buttered toasted bread.
Makes about 2 1/2 cps of spread.
