Hot Cheese-Bacon Rolls

8 slices fresh bread
1/4 lb (1 cp) shredded sharp American cheese
8 slices lean bacon
16 stuffed olives
1 - Start broiler at moderately hot (400 degrees F.)
2 - Cut cursts from bread
3 - Cut slices in half
4 - Put about 1 tbsp cheese on each strip.
5 - Roll.
6 - Cut bacon strips in half crosswise, wrap cheese roll with bacon strip and fasten with wooden pick.
7 - Place rolls on rack in shallow pan.
8 - Broil about 8 minutes, or until bacon is cooked and crisp.
9 - Stick olive on end of pick.
Makes 16 rolls
