San Antonio Argyle Club Salad Recipe

I was served a delicious salad bowl at the San Antonio, Texas, Argyle
Club,. It consisted of a ring of chopped hard-cooked eggs around whole
shrimp, on a base of Julienned ham, Swiss cheese, chicken, and lobster,
all on shredded lettuce. Russian dressing topped the savory combina-
The shrimp were cooked, deveined, and icy cold. The ham, cheese
and chicken julienned, and the lobster in bite-size pieces.
Another salad trick at the club is serving thinly sliced raw summer
squash as garnish on vegetable salads.
