Avocado Ring Salad

2 tbsp unflavored gelatin
1/2 cp cold water
1 1/4 cps hot water
6 tbsp lemon juice
1 1/2 tsp grated onion
2 1/4 tsp salt
1/8 tsp Tabasco sauce
3 cps sieved avocados
1 - Soften gelatin in cold water.
2 - Dissolve in hot water.
3 - Add lemon juice, onion, salt, and Tabasco.
4 - Stir into sieved avocado and mayonnaise.
5 - Mix evenly.
6 - Pour into 8-inch ring mold.
7 - Chill until firm.
8 - Unmold on greens.
9 - Fill center with chicken or seafood salad.
10 - Garnish with sliced avocado.
Makes 10 ro more servings.
Equally good filled with fresh fruit salad, especially grape-
fruit sections and green pepper strips.
