Walnut-Butter Basting Sauce for Vegetables

A delicious variation of the butter sauce which is poured over hot
asparagus tips, broccoli, and other green vegetables is made by adding
1 or 2 tbsp ground walnuts to melted butter. Season with a
little salt, pepper and paprika.
Almond-Butter Sauce: Substitute ground or finely chopped toasted
almonds for walnuts.
