Savory Buttered Beets

1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp celery salt
1/8 tsp pepper
2 tbsp butter or margerine
1 - Wash and scrub beets thoroughly.
2 - Rinse and drain.
3 - Pare.
4 - Grate on medium grater into saucepan.
5 - Sprinkle with seasonings.
6 - Dot with butter or margerine.
7 - Cover.
8 - Simmer over low heat about 30 minutes or until tender.
9 - Serve with a little vinegar or lemon quarters.
Makes 4 to 6 servings.
This vegetable is especially appetizing heaped in lettuce leaf. May
be garnished with dab of Hollandaise or mayonnaise/
