Escalloped Onions and Cheese

4 tbsp butter or margerine
1/4 cp sifted all-purpose flour
2 cps milk
1/4 tsp paprika
1 tsp salt
1/4 tsp celery salt
1 tsp prepared mustard
1/2 cp finely cut Cheddar cheese
2 cps small boiled peeled onions
1 - Melt butter or margerine in top part of double boiler.
2 - Add flour and stir until smooth.
3 - Add milk slowly, stirring constantly.
4 - Add seasonings.
5 - Stir to mix.
6 - Add cheese and cook until creamy, stirring constantly.
7 - Start oven at moderate (350 degrees F.).
8 - Butter 1 1/2 qt baking dish.
9 - Pour drained onions into prepared baking dish.
10 - Pour cheese sauce over.
11 - Bake 20 minutes or until hot and bubbly.
Makes 4 or more servings.
