4 tbsp butter or margerine
1/4 cp honey
2 tbsp water
1/2 tsp salt
4 large sweet onions, peeled and cut in half
1 - Start oven at moderate (350 degrees F.).
2 - Butter shallow baking dish
3 - Melt butter or margerine with honey, water, 1 tsp paprika, and salt in saucepan.
4 - Place onion halves, cut side up, in prepared baking dish. Pour honey mixture over.
5 - Cover.
6 - Bake 1 1/2 hours or until onions are tender.
7 - Baste 2 or 3 times.
8 - Sprinkle with additional paprika few minutes before taking from oven.
Makes 4 to 8 servings.
