Candied Sweet Potatoes

8 sweet potatoes
1/4 cp butter or margerine
1 cp brown sugar, packed
2 tbsp honey
1 tsp grated orange peel
1/2 cp orange juice
1 - Start oven at moderate (375 degrees F.)
2 - Scrub potatoes; rinse; pare.
3 - Cut in halves or thick slices lengthwise.
4 - Brown well in butter or margerine in 2-quart flameproof baking dish.
5 - Sprinkle sugar over.
6 - Add honey, peel, and juice.
7 - Cover dish.
8 - Bake 30 minutes.
9 - Uncover.
10 - Continue baking 20 to 30 minutes or until potatoes are tender.
11 - Baste often with juices in dish or with additional butter or margerine mixed with little brown sugar.
Makes 8 servings.
