Baked Squash, English Style

1 qt. thinly sliced peeled Hubbard Squash
2 tsp salt
1/4 cp sugar
1/2 cp heavy cream
1 tsp powdered cinnamon
1 - Start oven at slow (250 degrees F.).
2 - Butter 1-1/2 qt. baking dish.
3 - Pour sliced squash into dish.
4 - Sprinkle with salt and sugar.
5 - Pour cream over.
6 - Sprinkle with cinnamon; cover dish.
7 - Bake about 50 minutes or until squash is tender.
