Baked Fish Steaks a la Crecy
1 lb halibut, swordfish, or salmon steaks (1 inch thick)
3 tbsp fresh lemon juice
1 tbsp butter or margerine
1/2 cp dairy sour cream
1/4 cp shredded carrot
1/4 cp peeled cucumber, well drained
1 tbsp sliced green onion
1 tsp fresh grated lemon peel
1/2 tsp sugar
generous dash seasoned salt
1 - Place fish on large piece of heavy duty foil.
2 - Sprinkle with 2 tbsp lemon juice, salt, and paprika; dot with butter.
3 - Wrap securely; place on baking sheet.
4 - Bake at 450 degrees for 12 to 14 minutes until fish flakes easily with a fork.
5 - Meanwhile to make sauce, combine sour cream, carrot, cucumber, green onion, lemon peel, sugar, seasoned salt
and remaining 1 tbsp of lemon juice.
6 - Serve sauce with fish steaks.
7 - Garnish with lemon wedges and parsley, if desired.
Makes 4 servings.
