2 lbs round steak or chuck steak (cut in 1 inch thick slice)
1/2 cp flour, seasoned with salt and pepper
1 onion, sliced
1 small green pepper, sliced
1/2 cp shortening
30 oz can tomatoes
1 - Dip steak in seasoned flour; brown in shortening.
2 - Add onion, green pepper and tomatoes; cover and cook over low heat until meat is tender, about 1 hour.
