4-5 chicken breast halves
1/4 cp butter or margerine
1 can (11 oz) Mandarin oranges, drain and reserve liquid
1/2 cp chopped onion
1 cxlove garlic, minced
2 tbsp honey
1 tbsp soy sauce
2 pkts MBT Instant chicken broth
1 tbsp cornstarch
1/4 tsp ground ginger
1 - In skillet saute' chicken breasts in butter or margerine on both sides, about 3 minutes each.
2 - Place in 2 quart casserole; arrange orange pieces around chicken.
3 - Stir onion and garlic into remaining butter.
4 - Saute' until tender, scraping brown bits from bottom.
5 - Add enough water to orange liquid to make 1 cup, stir into skillet.
6 - Add the honey and soy sauce.
7 - Combine MBT, cornstarch, and ginger; mix well.
8 - Blend into skillet and heat until bubbly and thickened.
9 - Pour over chickenand oranges.
10 - Bake at 350 degrees F. for 45 minutes.
Makes 4-6 servings (1 piece chicken each)
