large onions, red or yellow
1 tbsp butter
1 - Select large onions. Do not peel.
2 - Place onions on ungreased baking tray.
3 - Roast at 375 degrees for 45 to 60 minutes.
4 - The outside peels will darken and caramelize, adding a delicious sweetening.
5 - To serve, cut across with an x.
6 - Add a tbsp of butter.
