1 tbsp olive oil
1/2 lb ground beef
1/2 stalk celery, finely chopped
1/2 onion, chopped
1/2 tsp parsley
1/2 clove garlic
1 No. 2 1/2 cqan tomatoes
1 can tomato paste
1/4 tsp salt
dash of pepper
dash of nutmeg
dash of oregano
1/2 lb mozzerella cheese, thinly sliced
v 2 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese
1 - Cook lasagne in boiling salted water until almost tender.
2 - Drain and rinse.
3 - In saucepan, heat oil and brown beef, celery, onion, parsley and garlic.
4 - When beef is no longer red, add tomatoes, tomato paste, salt, pepper, nutmeg, and oregano.
5 - Let simmer 1 1/2 hours to make a thick sauce.
6 - In greased casserole, arrange alternate layers of cooked lasagne, meat sauce, and mozzerella, ending with sauce.
7 - Sprinkle wit5h Parmesan cheese.
8 - Bake until cheese is melted.
9 - Serve very hot.
10 - A generous helping of lasagne, a mixed salad and fruit for dessert - a perfect dinner.
