Nevada Hamburger Casserole
1 1/2 lbs ground beef
1/2 lb ground fresh pork shoulder
1/2 cp uncooked rice
1 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
3 tbsp fat
3 small onions, chopped
2 small carrots, chopped
1 cp csnned tomatoes
1 - Combine beef, pork, rice, salt, and pepper.
2 - Shape into 12 small patties.
3 - Brown in skillet in hot fat.
4 - Put 2 patties into each of 6 individual casseroles.
5 - Combine other ingredients and divide over the patties.
6 - Place the casseroles on a cookie sheet (to make removal from the oven easier) and bake until done.
7 - Serve in individual casseroles.
