2 cps white sauce made with cream insteAd of milk
1 cp cooked veal, cut into thin strips
6 Oz spaghetti, cooked and cut up
1 cp cooked asparagus pieces
1/2 Cp mushrooms, sliced and sauteed in butter
1 Egg yolk, slightly beaten
1/3 Cp grated Parmesan cheese
3/4 cp buttered cracker crumbs
1 - Combine sauce, veal, spaghetti, asparagus and mushrooms.
2 - Heat.
3 - Remove from flame and stir in egg.
4 - Turn into buttered large casserole or individual ramekins.
5 - Sprinkle with cheese and crumbs and bake in hot oven (400 degrees F.) until browned on top and bubbly hot.
6 - Be a clever hostess--prepare this in the morning, ready to pop into the oven half an hour before guests are due.
