1 lb boneless veal, sliced thin
3 tbsp butter
1 1/2 cps thinly sliced potatoes
1 cp green pepper strips, about 1 inch wide
3/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
2 cloves garlic, finely minced or crushed
2 cps tomato sauce
1 - Have butcher flattn veal or pound it yourselfto 1/4-inch thickness
2 - Cut into 2-inch squares.
3 - Brown both sides in hot butter in a saucepan on top of the stove (or in oven heated to 450 degrees F.).
4 - Set meat squares aside as they brown.
5 - In medu=ium casserole, arrange a layer of browned veal, a layer of sliced potatoes, a layer of peppers.
6 - Season each layer with salt, pepper, and bits of garlic.
7 - Pour tomato sauce on top, cover and bake at 350 degrees F. until everything is tender.
