Ham and Cauliflower Polonaise
1 1/2 cps soft bread crumbs
1 1/2 cps milk
2 tbsp butter
salt and pepper
1 head cooked or 1 pkg frozen cauliflower
1 1/2 cps cooked chopped ham
2 hard cooked eggs, mashed
1 tbsp chopped parsley
1 - Add bread crumbs to milk and cook over low flame, stirring until smooth.
2 - Remove from heat.
3 - Stir in butter, salt and pepper.
4 - Separate cauliflower into flowerets.
5 - In a greased casserole, put alternate layers of flowerets, bread sauce, and ham.
6 - Repeat layers.
7 - Combine eggs and parsley and spread on top.
8 - Cover and bake until golden.
9 - A lovely dish, even if it composed mostly of leftovers.
