Chicken and Oyster Casserole
2 cps cooked diced chicken
1 pint oysters
2 cps thin cream sauce (made with chicken stock and cream instead of water)
1/3 cp buttered crushed cracker crumbs
1 - Spoon the chicken into a greased 1 1/2 qt casserole, piling it in the middle.
2 - Surround with the oyters.
3 - Pour in cream sauce, top with crumbs, and bake uncovered until oysters are plump.
4 - Or bake and serve in individual ramekins or casseroles.
5 - Good with mushrooms and tomatoes.
6 - Quick but delicious, this is a company dish -- the kind thwat lets you spend more time with them and less in the kitchen.
