Cut chicken in pieces. Brown in hot fat. Place chicken in casserole.
Add 1 cp water to fat in which chicken was browned. Boil 2 minutes.
Pour over chicken. Add sufficient water to cover. Add 3/4 tsp salt
and 1/8 tsp pepper. Cover. Bake in slow oven (325 degrees F.) until
chicken is tender. Uncover. Arrange small biscuits over top. Bake in
hot oven (450 degrees F.) about 25 minutes.
