2 cps flour
3 tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
2 eggs, well beaten
2 tbsp sugar
2 tbsp butter or butter substitute.
1 - Sift flour, measure, and sift with baking powder, sugar and salt.
2 - Rub in butter or butter substitute with tips of fingers or cut in with 2 spatulas.
3 - Add eggs and sufficient water to make soft dough.
4 - Turn onto lightly floured board andn pat into sheet 1 inch thick.
5 - Cut into rounds or squares.
6 - Fold over double and brush with milk.
7 - Place on slightly oiled baking sheet.
8 - Dust with sugar and bake in hot oven (450 degrees F.) about 15 minutes.
