Peach Butterscotch Tarts
12 canned peach halves
1/4 cp corn sirup
3 tbsp flour
3/4 cp brown sugar
6 tbsp butter or butter alternate
2 tsp lemon juice
1/2 tsp mace
1 - Combine butter or butter alternate and flour.
2 - Add sirup, sugar, mace, lemon juice and a few grains salt.
3 - Cook, stirring constantly until thick.
4 - Place peaches, hollow side up in muffin tins lined with unbaked pastry.
5 - Cover with the sauce.
6 - Cover with strips of pastry.
7 -Bake in hot oven (450 degrees F.) 15 minutes.
9 - Bake 15 minutes.
