1/4 cp butter or butter substitute
1/2 cp brown sugar
1/3 cp milk
1 cp flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
3/4 cp chopped nuts
1 - Cream butter or butter substitute.
2 - Add sugar
3 - Add eggs, yolks and whites beaten separately, and milk
4 - Sift flour, measure and sift with baking powder and salt.
5 - Add to first mixture.
6 - Add nuts.
7 - Mix thoroughly.
8 - Drop by teaspoonfuls onto well-oiled baking sheet.
9 - Bake in moderate oven (400 degrees F.) about 15 minutes.
10 - Nuts or raisins may be pressed into each cookie before baking.
