3 egg whites, stiffly beaten
2 egg yolks, beaten until thick
1/3 cp cake flour
1/3 cp powdered sugar
1/2 tsp vanilla flavoring
1/4 tsp orange flavoring
1/4 tsp salt
1 - Sift sugar.
2 - Measure.
3 - Fold gradually into egg whites.
4 - Carefully flod in egg yolks which have been combined with flavorings and salt.
5 - Sift flour.
6 - Measure and sift carefully.
7 - Fold into mixture.
8 - Cover a baking sheet with un-oiled paper.
9 - Shape the lady fingers with a pastry tube having each about 4 inches long and 1 inch wide.
10 - Bake in moderate oven (375 degrees F.) 10 minutes.
11 - As soon as removed from the oven, slip from baking sheet using a wide spatula.
12 - Place the bottom of one lady finger on the bottom of another,
13 - Lay on waxed paper.
14 - Cool.
15 - Dust with powdered sugar.
