Scalloped Eggs with Asparagus
6 hard-cooked eggs
1 1/2 cps medium white sauce
3/4 cp buttered crumbs
2 dozen stalks, canned or fresh, cooked asparagus
salt and pepper
1 - Fill well-oiled baking dish with alternate layers of sliced eggs and asparagus.
2 - Season with salt and pepper.
3 - Add white sauce.
4 - Cover with buttered crumbs.
5 - Bake in moderate oven (400 degrees F.) until sauce bubbles.
