1 cp milk, scalded
2 tbsp sugar
1/4 tsp vanilla flavoring
few grains salt
1 - Beat egg slightly with fork.
2 - Add sugar and salt
3 - Add milk gradually, stirring constantly.
4 - Cover over hot water, stirring constantly, until mixture coats spoon.
5 - Remove from fire.
8 - If curds form,beat rapidly with a Dover beater.
