Scalloped Oysters and Macaroni
1 cp macaroni
2 cps oysters
1/2 cp bread crumbs
1/4 cp grated cheese
2 tbsp butter or butter substitute
salt and pepper
1 cp milk
1 - Cook macaroni in boiling salted water until tender.
2 - Drain.
3 - Rinse with cold water.
4 - Drain.
5 - Fill well-oiled baking dish with alternate layers of macaroni and oysters.
6 - Add milk.
7 - Dot each layer with butter or butter substitute.
8 - Add seasonings
9 - Cover top with bread crumbs.
10 - Sprinkle with grated cheese.
11 - Bake in moderate oven (375 degrees F.) about 40 minutes.
12 - Serve with tomato or white sauce.
