1 1/2 cps sugar
1/8 tsp cream of tartar
1 tsp vanilla flavoring
3/4 cp boiling water
2 egg whites, stiffly beaten
few grains salt
1 - Combine sugar, water, salt, and cream of tartar.
2 - Stir until dissolved.
3 - Boil to soft ball stage (236 degrees .).
4 - Pour slowly, beating constantly, over egg whites.
5 - Add flavoring.
6 - Beat until thick and creamy.
