1 pound round, shoulder, or chuck steak cut 1 inch thick.
1 tsp salt
1 cp boiling water
1/3 cpm cooking fat
1 - Rub meat with salt.
2 - Pound all the flour possible into the steak.
3 - Sear in hot fat.
4 - Add water.
5 - Cover.
6 - Simmer slowly until meat is tender.
7 - If desired, 1 cp tomatoers may be subnstituted for the water, or 1/2 cp water may be used with the browned
steak, and 1 cp sour cream added 30 minutes before cookiong is completed.
