Strawberry Cream Pie
1 1/4 cps milk
2 tbsp corn-starch
1/2 cp sugar
1 cp strawberry preserves
1 - Combine milk, 6 tbsp sugar, few grains salt, corn-starch, and slightly beaten egg yolks.
2 - Cook over hot water until thick and smooth.
3 - Add strawberry preserves which have been well drained.
4 - Pour into baked pastry shell.
5 - Cover with meringue made with egg shites and 2 tbsp sugar.
6 - Bake in slow oven (325 degrees F.) 20 minutes.
