Buttermilk Pie II
2/3 cp sugar
1 tbsp flour
1 tsp lemon flavoring
2 tbsp sugar
1 cp buttermilk
1/2 tbsp butter or butter substitute
1/8 tsp salt
1 tbsp lemon juice
1 - Combine sugar, flur, and butter or butter subsitute.
2 - Add buttermilk, flavoring, salt, lemon juice, and slightly beaten egg yolks.
3 - Mix thoroughly.
4 - Pour into pastry lined pan.
5 - Baoek in hot oven (425 degrees F.) until an inserted knife comes out clean.
6 - Cover with meringue made of egg whites and 2 tbsp sugar.
7 - Bake in slow oven 20 minutes.
