Thin White Sauce
1 cp milk, scalded
1 tbsp melted butter or butter substitute
1 tbsp flour
1/2 tsp salt
1 - Combine butter or butter substitute and flour.
2 - Add milk slowly, stirring constantly.
3 - Cook over hot water until thick and smooth.
4 - Add salt and a few grains pepper.
5 - Use for preparing cream soups.
