2 tbsp butter or butter substitute
2 cps sugar
1/4 cp molasses
1/2 cp evaporated milk
2 squares chocolate
2 tbsp raisins
1/4 cp chopped nuts
1 tsp vanilla flavoring
1 - Melt butter or butter substitute; add sugar, milk, molasses and chocolate.
2 - Heat genly an stir until chocolate is melted.
3 - Bring to the boiling point and boil to soft ball stage(234-238 degrees F.)
4 - Remove from fire.
5 - Cool to room temperature.
6 - Beat until creamy.
7 - Add raisins, nuts, and flavoring.
8 - Continue beating until mixture will hold its shape.
9 - Pour into well-buttered pan
10 - Cut in squares.
