2 cps sugar
1/2 cp thin cream
1/2 cp chopped nuts
2 tbsp butter or butter substitute
1/2 cp chopped raisins
1 tbsp toasted coconut
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp vanilla flavoring
2 tbsp corn-starch
1 - Boil sugar, corn-starch, cream, butter or butter substitute, and salt to soft ball stage (234-238 degrees F.)
2 - Cool to room temperature.
3 - Beat until creamy.
4 - Add raisins, nuts, coconut, and flavoring..
5 - Continue beating until mixture can be handled.
6 - Turn onto a board dusted with powdered sugar.
7 - Knead until smooth and creamy.
8 - Shape into a roll.
9 - Sprinkle with additional toasted coconut.
10 - Slice with a sharp knife.
