5 cps sugar
2/3 cp hot water
1 cp sweet cream
any flavoring desired
1 - Combine sugar and hot water.
2 - Stir until sugar is dissolved.
3 - Boil.
4 - Add cream slowly.
5 - Stir constantly; do not allow sirup to stop boiling.
6 - Boil to hard ball stage (265-270 degrees F.).
7 - Add flavoring
8 - Pour into well buttered pan.
9 - When cool pull until it will hold its shape.
10 - Form into long bars about 1 1/2 inches wide.
11 - Cut with a sharp knife in 1 inch lengths.
