1 cp sugar
1/3 cp white corn sirup
1/3 cp strained honey
1/4 cp water
1/4 tsp salt
2 egg whites
1 cp chopped nuts
1/4 tsp vanilla flavorig
1/2 lb dipping chocolate
1 - Combine sugar, sirup, honey, and water.
2 - Stir occasionally.
3 - Boil to hard ball stage (265-270 degrees F.).
4 - Add salt to eggs.
5 - Beat until stiff.
6 - Gradually pour on half of the sirup, beating constantly with the egg beater or spoon..
7 - Boil remaining sirup to hard crack stage (285-290 Degrees F.)
8 - Pour gradually into the egg mixture, beating constantly.
9 - Place over fire on asbestose mat.
10 - Beat until thick.
11 - Add flavoring and nuts.
12 - Pour into well buttered shallow pans.
13 - When cool cut in squares.
14 - Coat these with melted chocolate.
