Rolled or Flaked Cereals
1 cp rolled or flaked cereal
2 cps boiling water
1/2 tsp salt
1 - Sprinkle cereal, stirring constantly, ino rapidly boiling water.
2 - Add salt.
3 - Boil 5 minutes.
4 - Continue cooking over direct heat, or cook in double boiler over hot water
according to directions given by the manufacturer.
5 - One-half cup chopped raisins, dates, or nuts may be added to the cereal
during the cooking process if desired.
