2 cps cooked oatmeal
1 small onion, chopped
salt and pepper
1 cp soft bread crumbs
1 egg, well beaten
1 - Combine oatmeal, onion, crumbs, and egg.
2 - Season to taste.
3 - Add sufficient flour to make a stiff drop batter.
4 - Mix thoroughly.
5 - Drop by teaspoonfuls into hot fat (365 degrees F.)
6 - Fry until brown.
7 - Drain on crumpled absorbent paper.
