Asparagus and Cheese Canapes
8 stalks asparagus
4 rounds butter toast
4 tbsp grated Parmesan or American cheese
1 - Scale and wash asparagus; cut tender green portion into inch pieces.
2 - Dust the asparagus with flour, salt, and pepper, combined.
3 - Fry in butter until asparagus is tender.
4 - Arrange on the toast; sprinkle generously with the cheese
