Cabbage Cream Broth
2 cps finely chopped fresh cabbage
2 tbsp butter
1 tsp salt
1 pint water 1 qt milk
1/8 tsp pepper
1 - Combine the cabbage, butter, salt and water.
2 - Cook 10 minutes. Add milk and remaining ingredients.
3 - Bring to a boil and simmer another 15 minutes.
4 - Serve plain or slightly thickened with flour
