Southern Tomato Cream Soup No. 2
3 tbsp minced green pepper
1 tbsp butter
1 can tomato soup
1 pint milk
salt and pepper
few grains ground clove
1 - Fry green pepper in the butter slowly for 3 minutes.
2 - Add tomato soup; bring to boiling point; add mil, which
should be heated separately
3 - Season as needed with salt, pepper, and clove.
4 - Serve with or without a garnish of whipped cream.
