2 tbsp butter
3 onions, sliced thin
1/2 tsp salt
1/8 tsp pepper
2 cps boiling water
3 medium sized potatoes, sliced thin 1/2 lb can salmon
2 cps milk
1 - Melt the butter; add the onions; saute' until soft.
2 - Stir in the flour and seasonings; add the boiling water and potatoes.
3 - Simmer until potatoes are tender, about 15 minutes.
4 - Remove the skin and bones from the salmon.
5 - add the salmon to the soup along with the milk and bring to the boiling point.
6 - Serve in soup plates with pilot cracker dipped in hot milk to garnish each serving.
