5 tbsp butter
1 small onion, chopped
2 cps canned corn
2 cps diced peeled potatoes
2 cps boiling water
1 qt milk
2 tbsp flour
1 tsp salt
1/8 tsp pepper
1 - Melt 3 tbsp or butter; add the onion and fry until yellow.
2 - Add corn, potatoes, and 2 cps boiling water.
3 - Simmer until potatoes are tender.
4 - Add the milk, heat to boiling point and thicken with
the remaining butter and flour, blended.
5 - Season with salt and pepper; and serve in bowls with pilot crackers
