Quick Finger Rolls
2 cps flour
3 tsp baking powder
1 tbsp sugar
1 tsp salt
4 tbsp shortening
1 well beaqten egg
3/4 cp milk
1 - Sift the dry ingredients; work in the shortening with the back and edge of a spoon.
2 - Whe0n flaky, add egg, well beaten andn mixed with the milk.
3 - Transfer to a slightly floured board; roll to 1/2 inch thickness.
4 - Cut into finger length pieces. Place 2 " apart on an oiled pan.
5 - Brush with a little beaten egg white.
6 - Bake in a very hot oven (45o degrees) about 15 minutes.
