2 cps flour
3 tsp baking powder
<1/2 tsp saltbr> 2 1/2 tbsp shortening
1/2 cp seedless raisins
2/3 cp milk
1 - Sift the dry ingredients; cut in the shortening until the
consistency of coarse cornmeal.
2 - Add the raisins; add thre milk and blend.
3 - Divide in half and transfer to a board dusted with flour.
4 - Roll each half into a round 1/2" thick, and divide in quarters.
5 - Brush with a little milk and transfer to anoiled cookie sheet
or shallow pan.
6 - Bake in very hot oven (450 degrees) for 15 minutes, or until brown on top.
