2 cps rolled oats
1 1/2 cps sour milk
1/4 cp sugar
2 tbsp melted shortening
1 egg, slightly beaten
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
1 cp flour
1 - Pour the milk over the rolled oats; and let stand a few hours.
2 - Add the remaining ingredients and beat well.
3 - Transfer to small well oiled muffin pans.
4 - Bake in a hot oven, 400 degrees for 25 minutes, or until firm
in the center and brown on top.
