1/2 lb macaroni
1 1/2 cps finely chopped cooked meat
1/2 cp chili sauce
1/3 tsp salt
1/8 tsp pepper
1 cp grated American or Parmesan cheese
2 tbsp butter or bacon drippings
1 - Cook the macaroni tender in boiling salted water, or in any kind of soup stock.
2 - Drain an d chop coarse.
3 - Oil a baking pan; and put in a half an inch of layer of macaroni
4 - Cover with the meat mixed with the chili sauce and seasonings and half the cheese.
5 - Top with another layer of macaroni; dust thickly with the remaining cheese.
6 - Dot with drippingsand bake till browned in a hot oven (400 degrees).
7 - Cut in squares for serving.
