Escalloped Noodles with Crabmeat
1/2 lb noodles
1/2 lb flaked fresh or canned crabmeat
1 chopped pimento
1 green pepper, chopped
1 1/2 cps rich white sauce
1/3 cp crumbs
1/3 cp grated cheese
1 tbsp butter
1 - Boil the noodles in salted water until tender; In the meantime make the white sauce
2 - Add the pimento, pepper and crabmeat.
3 - Thickly butter a shallow baking dish; and line it with noodles which should be well drained.
4 - Put in the crabmeat mixture; cover with more noodles then with crumbs and cheese.
5 - Dot with butter; and bake until well browned. about 30 minutes in a hot oven, 375 degrees.
