2 tbsp butter
1 tbsp flour
1/4 lb diced American Cheese
1 can tomato soup
1 - Melt the butter; add the flour; and mix to a smooth paste.
2 - Add the cheese cut in dice and the tomato soup.
3 - Cook and stir over moderate flame until the mixture is smooth and slightly thickened.
4 - Serve on and with toast or crisp crackers.
